hiya everyone and hope your all doing well !!!

can anyone help me please?
what i'm trying to do is compile my pedigree, but with pictures of all the dogs named.
the only problem is i haven't got a clue where to start..
my breed is the staffordshire bull terrier.
is there anyone out there who knows anyone who can help me?

Hi Mark,

A lot of breed clubs have data bases holding photos of many generations of dogs - Staffs are not my breed so can't be of specific help and it may be a little late for our several Staff experts to be on-line.  Don't know if the breed is popular in the US, but my own breed (BSD) has a huge pedigree and photo data base on a US site of dogs from all over the world.  So might be worth googling for info until someone more useful than me is on-line :P

You will of course need to know the immediate few generations of your dog(s) and respect any copyright on photos (sincere apologies if that sounds like an "idiot guide" - it's not meant like that, only that I've in the past looked for pics of older lines and forgotten to take these rather important facts into the equation )

never thought of the copyright though.

did u have any luck?
i have found a lot of the pic from my dogs pedigree so if i have any that you need then i will pass them on if you want.  but my dogs are red so about 90% of there pedigree is as well

thanks for the replys, (fantastic)--i have managed to get some pictures, but fell very short at the first hurdle...lol
i must state at this stage that i want the pictures purely for my own records, and in no way to publish them !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staffie lover--the majority of my pedigree is also reds, so could i post you the dogs(pictures) i am after?
the line i have is Arnhem bridgebuster-rouge saga + rocellio rip ven winkle

my dogs are very simila to your dogs in pedigree so i may have what you need

I did this a couple of years ago with my boxer's pedigree. I managed to get a few of the pics by searching on google, and the ones that I did find, I emailed the owners of the pics and said what I was doing and would they mind me pinching the pics, and they were all really helpful and some even sent me pics of the ones that I was missing!
