I started semi feeding Barf two weeks ago. I still feed them one meal of Nature Diet . I have a nearly 6 months old Staffie girl (Molly) and Charlie my other Staffie will be 3 in August. Molly my puppy took to it like a duck to water and chewed her first chicken wing like she'd been doing it for years. Charlie sat looking at it for ages not sure what he was supposed to do with it so I held the first few for him, it didn't take him long to get the hang of it.
Although I've read loads about BARF online I feel I need to buy a book about it before I make a complete changeover.
So can anyone help me decide which book to buy ie, Give your Dog a Bone but would I then need to combine that with Grow your Pups with Bones?
Really I can't decide weather to go with Ian Billinghurst, Kymythy Schulze or Tom Lonsdale, decisons, decisons. I wish I could afford to buy all of them so although I know everyone probably has their own favourite which would be the best for a beginner like me?
Thanking everyone in advance, Deirdre,Charlie,Molly and the Cats
If you are going to buy only one book, I would recommend 'Give Your Dog A Bone'. 'Grow Your Pups With Bones' is a variation on his first book, as is 'The BARF Diet'. Tom Lonsdale's 'Raw, Meaty Bones' is an excellent book, but is more a biography than a practical feeding book.

If you want a simple easy to read book i would go with kymythy and then move onto give your dog a bone,i dont have any of lonsdales books, but i did hear his book is more or less the same as the other two but more complicated!

Kmythy Schulzes books is the most accessible, followed by the Barf Diet by IB and then his Give a Dog a Bone.
