I have a male bullmastiff who has just turned 5 months and is stating to be a little fussy with his food. He's on Beta dry puppy food. I've added rice, tuna, tripe, mince and gravy to his meals and he will eat it but he'll only eat 2 meals per day. I add 1 cup of dried food to the tripe etc, is this enough or too much ? or should i be giving him something else???? HELP !!!!

2 Meals per day is the norm tbh. Most people regardless of the breed they have feed this way. I would say that the ammount of food excactly, depends on the individual dog. Its better for your dog (especially larger breed dogs) to be a bit lean anyway. So just judge how much you should feed by his body frame, size, activity levels etc!
I have a almost 5 month old ddb ( french mastiff), and she is fed twice a day, just the dried nothing added, but i do give her some fish in oil as a treat twice a week, she has a mug in the morning and again at tea time, i will stick to twice a day for the rest of her life , i think its better for large breeds to be fed like tjis.
Hope that helps, Sarah x
thanks very much sarah, i think i'll try just dry food for a while and just give him treats a few times per week.
