what WAS going on there yesterday? was going home (which was thankfully un affected) & it was manic. total gridlock (people had turned of the cars & lights) there were loads of blue lights. then a couple of junctions were closed around clevedon /weston & burnham. anyone hear what happened?

Four hurt as vehicle catches fire 
Four people were taken to hospital with serious burns after their car overturned and caught fire on the M5 motorway in Somerset on Saturday.
The accident happened at about 1600 GMT between junctions 21 at Weston-super-Mare and 19, Portishead.

Police closed the northbound carriageway for several hours.

The four occupants of the car were taken to Frenchay Hospital near Bristol where their condition was said to be "potentially life threatening".
