Does anyone know of any treats that are healthy that I can make at home?

I have found a few but they all contain unhealthy ingredients :-(

Thankyou

Have you tried making them some liver cake?  Always goes down well with mine!  This is the recipe I use, although you could substitute the liver for anything else!

8ozs Liver
4ozs S/R Flour
2 Eggs (I include the shell)
2 Cloves Garlic
Carrot etc as required

Put all the ingredients into a blender until the mixture is smooth, pink and runny;  Pour into greased baking tin and place in the oven [Gas Mark 4, 180'C] for around 30-40 minutes.
Leave to cool.  Slice as required.

:)

I swop the liver for pilchards in tomato sauce, tuna, chicken mince, rabbit mince anything really.  Just use the same recipe as above and adapt it slightly.  I cook them up for the dog training club that I help out at and all the dogs love them.  If you have a dog that is sensitive to wheat use rice flour as opposed to normal plain flour.

I am going to try all of these to see how my boy likes them! His grandad says it sounds nice too (grandad is human by the way!!)

my dogs favourite is the pilchards.  I use approximately two of the smallest cans you can get together with the usual amount of ingredients.  They absolutely stink but fantastic for training!
