hey all
i was looking on this site about siberian husky colours and i found a husky who had a splashcoat marking which i thought was beautiful anyhoodle i wanted to ask if this was an unusual colour or marking for a husky and also if there are bredders that specialise in breeding dogs of this colour or if it just happens lol
Having bred Siberian Huskies for nearly 13 years now, I have never heard of this description in the breed for colouring!!!
Over the last few years with many new owners in the breed, there have been some weird and wonderful desciptions of colourings on registration with the KC!!!!!
I would love to see one of these to work out the actual colouring?????? Where did u see it???

As far as the AKC standard goes, (haven't read the KC standard), any color from black to solid white is allowed with a countless and endless amount of patterns unique to the Siberian husky, not found in any other breed. I've heard of splashed coats, or pied coats, before. They're beautiful!
1 on that site is just like 1 of mine. Ive always classed her as grey and white. She just as a white patch on her neck like the 1 there.
