Looking for blood donors for a pup of 7 months.

Unfortunately Ted has a very rare heart condition, one of his heart chambers is split in two which means that the blood is pumped in ok but can not be pumped out properly. Without treatment, Ted WILL die.

Ted's only chance is to undergo open heart surgery, but without a benevolent canine blood donor the surgery will be in vain. Ted is due to undergo surgery week beginning 18th April and needs to find a donor before the surgery can be attempted. The surgery will take place at the Royal Veterinary College, South Mimms, Hertfordshire.

Blood donors need to be over 25kgs, fit and healthy and with a calm temperament.
