Hi Lou,

What do you think of this? It's a 10 month Wire Fox Terrier in rescue? http://www.foalfarm.org.uk/cgi-wl/dogs/mugshots/dog72.JPG

If you would be happy to have a rescue and a crossbreed go on to www.dogpages.org.uk and post a message on homes offered - I am sure you will get lots of replies!

I would agree, judging by the4 dogs coming to our trainign classes the reason many of them land up in a home is because they are lively inteligent and playful and too mcuh for a sedentary owner to cope with.  Channeling their energies into a fun activity like Agility would be perfect.  Also with a young adult or older pup you have the advantage of seeing what they will be like and being able to start trainign right away if over 18 months rather than having to wait for a pup to greo up and mature in it's bones.

ok how many posts in that now wanting different types of dog look into a few breeds and see which type best suits you then talk to some breeders.
