Hi there, i am looking to change feeds got my dogs who are currently on Pal Complete. I know its no good for them now and want to change. I have been looking at lots of premium foods and thought I would try pro Plan. BUT then i read they test on animals - it upsets me to think that those poor dogs are put thru tests and tests!
So does anyone know about the Natural Dog Food Company? They are quite reasonably priced, organic and holistic and do not test on animals?
I have also researched into Fromm foods? Its a bit more expensive - but only the best for my dogs!
I would appreciate any replies or commnets.

Yes, I feed it and am delighted with the results, but no doubt you will get someone on here with a different view soon. :-) If you do try it and it suits, see if they will let you join the breeders club - 15kg bags are £24.75!

I have been put on mailing list, and have a St Bernard, soon to have another! What dogs do you have? Do u think they are suited to the larger breed? some foods have too much protein in it for my liking, when Chloe was a puppy I had to take her off puppy food and feed her adult mix because of the hihg protein levels in some puppy foods?
I have asked for a sample of this food to be sent to me.
So if they like the food, Natural Dog Food Company is in my 'final line up' LOL!!!!!!

I have got 3 border collies. The protein content is 20% if I remember correctly. I know nothing specific about giant breeds nutrition other than watching protein intake as pups. I would have thought as an adult Chloe would have the same needs as any other dog, except for the amount of course! A friend of mine has got a Leo and she feeds him the same food as her Beardie.

Good luck,

Claire

I find the companies who dont swamp the market with mass advertising claims tend to be the best, they rely purely on word of mouth. They would rather put their money in the quality of their product than spend it brainwashing the general public with slick adds!
