
There's only one Pomeranian and that is the size that you describe. There's no such thing as a teacup Pomeranian. When we have a small Pom. we usually charge a very small fee to someone that we know will look after it and treasure it for the rest of it's life as unfortunately the tiny ones don't usually live as long as the slightly bigger healthier ones. They usually only live for a few years where the ones of the correct size usually live around 16 years, well mine do anyway !
It's just a name to con pet people and to make them pay extortionate prices. Pom's are small enough as it is without breeding intentionally smaller ones and they are hard work to rear too. A normal sized Pom. is about 2 ozs when born so I'd hate to know how much a "teacup" one is when born.
