Thanks to everyone for their help and support

I am personally fond of the richer coloured Gol;den Retrivers and do not like some of the jowly fleshy heads commonly seen in the UK showrings, but these dogs appear to be Red rather than Golden, almost Red setter colour.

I dislike the reference to the AKC Golden Retiurever breed, as they are not an American breed but a British one :D  I do prefer the more athletic build and clener heads of the American dogs and their length of leg.  I fail to see how some of the UK oblond short legged dogs fit the 'compact' part of the breed standard.

Congratulations Rubyscharm- a million time over!! What a joy! Just love those little squeaks and grunts. Please keep us all posted on there progress, the little angels:-)

Starryeyes- you are altogether too kind with your compliments. Thank you so much, it truly warms my heart.

Brainless- I appreciate your keen eye with the GR breed standard. Thank you for sharing your perspective.

Cheers!

Hi Megan,
Seen your pictures, they are absolutely beautiful and look so content! Congratulations! Ruby and pups are doing really well, they have all put on two oz and are coming along well. Its so stressful though I can hardly eat or sleep even though Ruby is doing all the hard work, im just the box cleaner! Really enjoying it all, hope everything is well there, please keep in touch and let me know how Sam and her babies are.

I know exactly what you mean! I have hardly slept since they were born. Every time I close my eyes I have one ear toward the mudroom- ready to leap up at any squeak! I will post some new puppy pic on the website tonight:-)
If you have a digital camera email me some pictures- I would LOVE to see your babies!!

What a joy!! 3 cheers for Ruby and Sam- what great girls they are:-)

Sending smiles from Idaho:-)

Hi Megan.
What absolutely gorgeous colours your dam and puppies are. Not forgetting the sire. Now those are what I would call GOLDEN retrievers :D Not the cream/pale ones we have over here. Not is only is the colour great, they look superb as well. And I agree with Brainless, I much prefer the more athletic build of yours.  congrats to you all
