Hi John, hope you dont mind me bothering you again, but i was wondering if you could give me some advice regarding dog food. As you know i have a GSP (17 Mths) and have been feeding her Autarky(adult food for last 6 weeks), after feeding her Hills then Burns, then Autarky puppy. She has never been a big eater of dry food, so over christmas we start giving her some meat because she was so lean. However, we can't seem to get her back, on the dry food. If we mix it with tuna, or meat she eats around the dry stuff. Should i just leave her till she is hungry, so she eats, put her back on puppy food, or change completely? bearing in mind we ended up on Autarky after she wouldnt eat the other varieties of dry food we fed her. Thanks as always for your good advice.

Hi I am not John but changing the food all the time is how to make your pup even more fussy.  Been there done that and got the tee shirt with two of mine of a normally greedy breed.  The best thing to do is put the normal amount of food down and then pick it up if not eaten in 20 minutes.  Do this every day for a week.  when he does eat his food do not try and give him more to make up for the meals he has missed as you'll be back to square one.
