As most of you know I have one bitch and am looking to get another puppy in about 18mths, well yesterday I went to crufts and fell in love with the dogs  have always said if I got another puppy it would be a bitch now Im not sure the dogs were beautiful I wanted to take them all home. I wont have the problem of having an entire dog and bitch together as Abby is being spayed next month.
I need some opinons please.

What breed? I like dogs, but I also like bitches it depends on the personality.

I think most dobe breeders would recommend getting a dog puppy if you already have a bitch. Having two bitches can, but not always, lead to fighting. It would mean you having to keep the 2 girls separate - which isn't always that easy. Are you a member of any dobe forums?

Dog, definitely. :D  Frequently Dobe bitches do not get on just as much as the males.

Thank you both I was a bit worried if I could cope with the strength of a male as when I was at obedience class with Abby there was a woman there whos male dragged her all around the place(she didnt take him to class until he was 10mths) Im 5ft 1in so was a bit concerned the next dog I get will be going to classes as soon as they have their injections.
