Well I took Holly for her first walk this morning - 6.00am!!!!. It was lovely and she really enjoyed it. We passed the milk man, postman on a bike, cyclist on a bike wearing scary yellow shorts, the dustcart and lots of people. She was really good and didn't bark or shy away from anything.

She walks everso slowly though!! It took us 25mins to do a walk that Eloise used to do in 10mins when she was 2!! I wasn't sure if we'd be going out today as she was very quiet yesterday and has some bad diohrea (sp??) I gave her chicken and rice for her tea and she was a lot better when I got up to her this morning. We're going to the country park this afternoon so she gets used to the open space and the geese whilst it's quiet. It gets so busy at the weekends that you can't ever find anywhere to park but Friday afternoons are lovely. Holly can sit in the pushchair with Issy for most of the walk.

Puppy Food

If anyone has fed a 14.5wk old Cocker Spaniel on the BARF system please get in touch - I'd love to change her onto proper food. She doesn't seem very interested in the complete food and only eats it if I add baby gravy (low sodium)/wafer thin ham or cheese to it. If I'm going to be adding bits to her food anyway I might as well do it all myself. Would I be better to swap her onto meat and mixer biscuits first and then progress onto the BARF system when she's a bit bigger?

thanks

Fiona
