My nine year old Bitch German Shepherd has never been neutered due to colitus, and hip displacia and came from a litter who had parvo and other illnesses. She experiences no problems during the season but then gets very anxious and suffers with phantom Pregnancy symptoms, digging holes, restlessness etc. etc. and very afraid of any slight bang or similar. I think her hormons get "shot" after her season!
Can anyone suggest anything in the homeopathic range I can give her. I do get remedies from Canine Cures, but been told they are not true homeopathics.
We are going to the south of England for a long weekend soon, and I do not want my dog to be anxious or fretful during this period as the change of environment does affect her bowels and temperament, although she really enjoys the "holiday" and loves the beach!!
I look forward to some advice hopefully,

Hi Jammie,
Probably the best homeopathic remedy would be Pulsatilla 30c three times daily for seven days - that's for a bitch who about the time she would have given birth becomes restless and hysterical, goes into hiding, builds a nest and treats objects as if they were her pups, also probably with milk.
If marked thirst, Cyclamen 30x instead.(uncommon case)
Less common - restlessness occurs at night, harldy any milk - Lilium Tigrinum 6x or 30x every four hours.
Asafoetida 4x if irritable, nervous restlessness predominates.
If hysteria is marked, Ignatia 6x.
Copied that lot out from H.G. Wolff for you. Hope that helps.
