sorry cant find previous posts just wondered how people managed with the M6 closure?  does anyone know exactly how long the m6 is closed for overnight and when it re-opens?  will be travelling down early sunday and would reach the closed bit about 6.00am ish

I rang the Highways Agency the other day for a friend and they said it would be closed until 10.30am on Sunday.

Which stretch of the M6 is closed?
Or is it all of it
It will be mighty quiet at work if it's all closed :D

A small section just north of the M62 :) I "think" its was junctions 22-23?

On the local radio it said it was reopening at10.30 but the road signs on the motorway say opening at 5.30am (been traveling that strech all week)

The way I drive I'll probably drive along it open or not :rolleyes: 

Last year coming back from Crufts my mate & I were happily gassing away when I saw a sign saying 'SCOTLAND'. Then noticed another sign mentioning Gretna   "Judy, are we in Scotland?2 says I....."ooh yeah Lover, I think we are...."says cockney Judy :D  :D   :D  We were supposed to be going to Newcastle!
