If I show my 9mth Staffie bitch what class would she come under??
I've been reading the Crufts results and there are so many different categories...is it in relation to age????
Would she be a puppy or Junior.....
Thank youx

She
couldn't be in Minor Puppy, as that's from 6-9 months old. Puppy is 6-12 months, Junior is 6-18 months. The only other age-limited class is Yearling, which is 12-24 months. All the others are limited by the amount of first places a dog has achieved.
However the age limits in Crufts classes are slightly different.

Let's suppose you decide to enter her into one of the Champ Shows - Birmingham, for example. That is at the beginning of May, so if she would still be under 1 year, as at the first day of the show (for argument's sake - and I probably am wrong, let's say that the first day of the show is May 5th). So, if her birthday was 4th May, then should could enter Puppy Class. If she gained 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in Puppy Class then she could qualify for Crufts next year 2006. You woud then be able to enter her into Special Yearling at Crufts!
I've just realised that what I've said only applies to dogs that don't have CCs (or "tickets")!

Thank you!!
We're actually doing her first show in May and I wasn't sure of the how the categories worked!
Keep your eyes peeled for us maybe one day you might see us at Crufts!!!
