Does anyone know where I can find a Havanese Bichon Breeder please.   I have been researching this breed for a while and it has such a friendly nature I would like to introduce one into my family.   I currently have an older dog and would like to get a companion for him also.  

There isn't a breed called the Havanese Bichon. There's a breed called the Bichon Frise, and a separate breed called the Havanese. Which are you after?

Havanese  - it is a member of the bischon family

That's interesting to know, thanks for that.:) I have just checked the Kennel Club site though, and the two breeds are listed separately with no reference to eachother in their Breed Standards.:)

Thanks for your reply.  I have been researching the American websites where there are loads of breeders and I don't want to ship a puppy to the UK

Your best bet is to contact the secretary of the breed club listed at the bottom of the Havanese Breed Standard and ask for a list of reputable breeders.

The same applies if you're after a Bichon Frise.

Hi again, I googled for Havanese Bichon and It seems to be the Havanese that you're looking for. There are 8 Havanese breeders listed here on Champdogs, have you tried them?
