i would suggeet going to your nerest resuce home.  there are often crosses of small terriers, or Yorkues os something dimilar.  if you get an adult you will be sure what size they will be.  Yorkies are common enough tomend up in general resuce.  If a particular breed appeals try contacting a bred specific rescue, though the toy breeds rescues often have long waiting lists.
