Hi folks,

I wasn't sure where to put this, hope it's the right board!
As we live in the south of England, and Crufts is all the way up in Birmingham, such a long way for just one day, there and back. Does anyone know anywhere that you can stay with your dogs? Don't want to leave them at home, and sure they'd love a big day out to meet the differnt breeds! Were not going this year but next year if any one can help us. Have looked on websites ect... To no avail though. But i thought someone on here might know if they'd been presented with the smae problem.

Cheers

Do you mean you want to take your dogs into Crufts because I'm afraid to say unentered dogs cannot go in and probably just as well it gets extremely crowded and not really a pleasant day out for a dog at all :)

Some areas run organised coaches to Crufts check your local travel agent or organise a coach yourself and fill it with fellow dog lovers. That way you get to Crufts and don't have the hassle of driving. I used to do this all the time. Now I go by train when not showing.

Hi

Thankyou for telling me, i didn't know you couldn't take them in, should have realised really! silly me. The coach idea sounds like a great idea. Will look into it!

If you are in Kent, then the Kent Messenger runs a coach trip with an overnight stay.  It looks excellent value too.

I would think about egtting a pet sitter in or sending them to kennels.  If you go on a coach you won't be leaving till normally after the groups!
