Hi I am getting a rottweiler puppy, I myself have never had one (but my husband has been brought up with one.)
I had a St Bernard, and at the moment my dad has a male bullmastiff and a hinze 57.
I have always loved the rottweiler breed.
Anyway I have paid a deposit and the pup is due in 5 days or so, I have read so many books and been on so many sites that I dream eat and sleep rottweiler at the moment.
I have spoken to the lady and had photos and been given hip scores for mum and dad but can't remember of the top of my head but they were both low, I will also be given a puppy pack, pedigree papers she will also be KC registered
and I will be able to Contact the lady at any time for advice. I would like to make sure that i will ask all the right qustions when I go to chose the puppy at three weeks and will be able to bring her home when she is 8 weeks old.
I have asked questions and she has answered them all, I have also been told I can have the pick of the litter, I do Know roughly what I am looking for but have got this from books and sites, I would also (if the puppy is good enough)
like to get into showing the pup if this is possible.
I would love to talk to owners of rottweilers any advice would be much appreciated.
I have also been in touch with socialization classes and have been told to ring back when the pup is born.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post Carla
