Can you feed a puppy of eight weeks old raw chicken wings or is it to dangerous? could some tell me which other bones you can feed if any? Whats the best puppy complete food to feed aswell as raw meat just to make sure she's getting all her nutrients. What age would you put a pup on junior is it six months if so best complete for that age? Thanks anyone who answers the hundred and one questions, i just want the best for her.

On the chicken wings, I would say it depends upon the size of the puppy. Our Siberian pups have been known to nick their mum's chicken wings at 8 weeks with no ill effects, but any breed smaller than that I would worry about, simply from the point of view of size. We tend to feed raw chicken wings from 12 weeks but tend not to use any other bones. The raw wings are soft and more like gristle than bone, and the pups don't seem to have any problem digesting them.
We start to feed our Golden Retriever puppies on wings at about 3.5 - 4 weeks of age. They do not manage to completely devour them until 5 or 6 weeks but will strip the meat off them okay.
We have fed 10 litters of puppies on raw wings without any problems.

My pup was on wings at 7 weeks without any problems whatsoever, and now, at 10 weeks she is devouring them like the older 2 :)
I fed Idõ, 14 weeks today(!), his first chicken wing last night - he must have thought it was his birthday and Christmas at the same time! I held onto it case he thought he could swallow it and it was gone in less than 30 secs! He did chew on it and kept looking around inside his crate fore more!
Will find out later what the results are......if you get my drift!!
