Whenever I post on here, my scroll bar stops working, the keyboard starts to misbehave and drop letters and if I go back to edit with the cursor, the whole text is highlighted when I haven't highlighted. If I do get the scroll bar to work, the pages suddenly flip onto another page!!! And I lose my post! So frustrating!!

Haven't noticed it on other sites, but my keyboard and mouse are wireless, can be a bit tempermental at times  Is it me? Or is this sad old PC giving up the ghost, I seem to reboot more and more these days 'cos it's playing tricks on me, despite regular maintainance. Does this happen to anybody else? I have asked a few people and nobody knows, they all say reformat. But I've done it several times before and really don't want to go through all of that again :(

maybe you need new drivers for your keyboard and mouse or you could have a virus  or it could be a simple case of upgrading a few items like memory etc... hth

Have you done any virus checks on your pc lately and is your antivirus protection and fire wall upto date?? mine went a little crazy not so long ago and I downloaded "Spy Bot Search & Destroy" (how cheesy is that please) and it did exactly what it said on the tin :D .  I had loads of spy-ware and ad-ware rubbish on and this caused me loads of problems.  Spy Catcher is also a good one for removing rubbish to.  Good Luck!!

Thank you both of you, I use AVG virus protector and it runs and updates automatically every day, I also have a firewall. I use Ad-aware and this is very efficient.

Good idea about the drivers, I haven't done that for a while. At the moment I am back to using my archaic keyboard and mouse and touch wood, everything is back to normal :P
