My 12 wk Border Collie is due for her first rabies jab this week, does that mean she can start going for walks and getting out and about after the first jab, or do we have to wait until she has the second jab which isn't until next month?  She is getting restless and we are dying to get her out for walks to keep her active and not let her get bored.  I would appreciate any advice on this? Thanks

I'm assuming you are not in the UK where most of our posters are.  I think you should be asking your vet for advice based on their local knowledge.

Many thanks.  I asked the vet and he said that she is able to go for walks now she's had her first jab.
