This is HONESTLY not a wind up (paranoia!)but as a sporadic viewer of champdogs I am slighty embarrassed to ask the question, but what exactly is a WUM or a troll please?

A WUM is a Wind Up Merchant and a troll is someone who will deliberately post a provocative thread in the hope of getting people to respond (and they usually do :rolleyes: )

Wind up merchant, Guest, someone who only comes here to cause trouble. The trouble is, we get so use to seeing them that occasionally someone comes alone and asks a question and we immediatly think they are one when in fact it was a genuine question! It shows how dangerous WUM's are!

Wind Up Merchant.  Trolls are those kind of people in the NET that like to cause tropuble just for the sake of it.  I think there is an actual breed standard for one somewhere :D
