hey my cousin has a little english bull terrier puppy called ashley and i think he is starting to cut his teeth my cousin asked your advice on giving him frozen carrots to chew on i was told by a friend that it would help him with it being really hard and that he can chew it and it would last for a while i was just wondering if this was ok i mean most of ashleys toys are chewed to pieces or they are soft eg a rope so would a frozen carrot be ok for him to chew
It might be a bit too hard frozen if he is teething. Try him with just a raw carrot, most dogs love those. Could also upset his tummy at that age if it is frozen.
When one of mine was teething, he had a penchant for the skirting boards - so in retrospect I don't think a frozen carrot would be too hard for him at all, I too found that putting things in the freezer for them to knaw on would help soothe the pain.
hi surly giving them frozen teatowles to chew on would encourage them to chew on materiels.ie your clothes or things like that?ive never tryed it my self so i wouldnt know if that would be the out come .i was just wondering thats all! x
