I rarely feed this but Tigger is due to pup soon and doesnt have much room and it is full of calories I give her a couple of sachets a day so she gets food in her. She has got to the faddy stage in the pregnancy. The thing is she has belched up liquid like water which smells of it.  Do you think it is related to hi life or the end of pregnancy?  Never had it happen before but am concerned.  She is very well in herself.

I would be very careful at this stage because of the high sugar content, after all I don't think dogs are particularly well equiped for metabolising sugars?

If she's belching liquid it probably (I'm not a vet though!) means that there's so little room inside now that her stomach gets full very quickly, although it could be that it's too rich for her and is causing indigestion. I know anything like that goes through my dals like a dose of salts! Remember, it's not merely calories she needs, it's calories from higher protein or fats. Personally I'd put a teaspoon of olive oil on her meat rather than feed anything like Hi Life.

I am adding loads of oils.  She is on cod liver oil, primrose oil, royal jelly, vetzyne and sunflower oil seeds.  Any suggestions on something which is high protien or fat.  Nothing is too good for her but I am just concerned she is not going to eat enough and I was told when I had her scanned the puppies were small.  I know I am panicking but I couldnt think of anything else to give her.
