im getting another stafford pup next week who i hope to show (will be my first to show) do i have to take him to puppy classes or do i take him to ringcraft class, does he have to have all his jabs before he goes and what age do i start him at, its all to confuzin

I would think most Ringcrafts would expect the puppy to have had all its jabs but I personally take my dogs to my local obedience class & either pop them into a wire crate or have them on my knee from the first training session after I get them, I find that this makes them used to noise & other dogs from a distance so when training starts at either there or the ringcraft they are not worried by other dogs. I've never been to a apuppy class as the only ones there are around here are run by a "local celeb"vet who has no idea of structured training & his classes always end with a free mixing session & a friends puppy got quite badly frightened by an aggressive terrier X breed that bite her face & the pup was a GSDThe Vet thought it was funny, took months of mixing with my cavaliers & a friends Border terrier to pull her round

Hello
My puppy has been going to ring craft and puppy classes since he was fully vacinated.... we use different leads for each event so that he associates the lead with the activities...
