Tigger has less than 3 weeks to go until she becomes a mum. Usually by this stage her mum is down to a slow trot but madam seems to still be full of energy although she is a right tub now. Should I let her decide how far to walk or should I decide for her. We drive her in the car to where the others go so she is not doing the full circuit but I do worry about her but on the other hand I want to keep her as fit as possible.

I excersise mine until theyn are in first stage labour, and if things are not progressing very much then will take them around the block to help things along.
My bitch has 1 week to go and is still enjoying her exercise. I keep her to heel for the second half of her walk so she doesn't rush around all the time. I intend to keep her going until D-Day as long as she seems keen.
I actually have the same question right now. I usually run every morning (5-8 miles) with my girl. Lately I have had to take her off the leash and just let her follow me because she is going so slow. She is currently 6 weeks along and really showing. I am not sure if I should push her along or not, I know she needs to exercise??
Any further advise would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance from Idaho:-)

Never push her but go at her pace and for the length of time she finds comfortable. If she has always taken pelenty of excersise she is unlikley to be lazy but finding it harder.
Thanks Brainless- that makes me feel better. Probably too many puppies in there sloshing around:-) She is generally a fantastic marathon dog!
