If you used a reputable stud, the owner should be able to help, as should your breed club (this is where membership is very useful).

When you advertise make sure you put 'to suitable homes only' and 'prospective homes will be vetted'.This will put many people off who are not serious.
Make a list of questions to ask...have you had dogs before...what breed, what happened to them etc
Get a contract drawn up and make sure the people who enquire know you will expect them to sign a contract on purchse. It is up to people to persuade you that they are suitable for a puppy....it is not up to you to persuade them to buy one.

I think you have a natural way of doing it already :-))))

Not really blue since there is no breed mentioned in the post since that would be against TOS

Archer, Hopefully you can see from my :-))))) that it was a bit of tongue in cheek. I was having a bit of fun because the poster said they have puppies due and then left their mobile number. :-) Sorry if you didn't read my reply like that!!! ;-)

Must admit I think the same way as Blue - no breed (could be mongrels for all we know :) ) - but mobile no!!
Maybe we're all getting to cynical for our own good :D
