Advertised for sale in our local paper-3 labradors(2bitches, 1 black and 1 GOLDEN(??)and 1 chocolate dog) Cannot be split, suitable for breeding and generating approx. £6,000 income per year, KC registered.
I couldn't believe this when I first read it, had to read it about 4 or 5 times. Labradors are not my breed but it doesn't mean I don't care about their welfare and I cannot understand how anyone can be like this, its so shocking that all people seem to care about is money.
What kind of world are we living in? :( I just felt I needed to let people know, not wanting to advertise or anything, hence not mentioning which paper it was in or numbers or anything. Just thought people should know.....

Hi Emily,  That is terrible and I hate to think what sort of home these dogs will get if they are only seen as money making machines.  I suppose the best we can hope is that an organisation or individual who has the animals welfare at heart gets in first.

What a disgrace! I've got a Labrador and it sickens me that anyone could do this - I would find it difficult not to ring them and give them a piece of my mind...
