Hello.I have a staffy bitch who is just over 4 months old.I  changed her over to a total raw  food diet about 5-6 weeks ago.I am still trying to work out how much to give.I know people will say every dogs different,if it looks fine your doing o.k. I am still a bit paranoid she is not getting enough or eating too much.On average she eats about 400g of tripe or other Anglian Meats frozen blocks,2-3 double chicken wings or  3-4 necks( split into 3 meals a day ) also 3-4 times a week  she chews on pigs ears and tripe sticks. This is roughly her diet.Do you think this is allright?  Thanks Spike.

Is she getting any vegetable matter?  Are you adding flax oil?  Vitamin C?  Any supplementation at all?

Read one of the many BARF books to make sure you are giving all the correct food stuff plus supplements. Also, run your hand down her sides, you should *just* be able to feel her ribs through the sides. If you can't then she is getting too much food (or not enough exercise) and if you feel she is too ribby then she needs more food

I have a VERY greedy Mal pup who I have just had to cut back on food with :) :D I can barely feel her ribs LOL

As Mel said, run your hands down her side and you should be able to feel her ribs - I 'm afraid with the quantities for every dog is different -though an estimate is that you feed 2 - 3% of their projected adult bodyweight. However my bitch only gets 600g a day, split into two meals and is still a little overweight (even though she gets a minimum of 1.5 hrs exercise per day).

If that was an Elkhound then that would be nearly twice what they would need, adn they are a 20kg dog as an adult.  so you can only go by checking your pups body condition each week.  Most people keep their dogs too fat, so be sure you really can feel her ribs but not see all of them (you should be able to see the back ones). :D
