How many do you need to make up an International Champ.
Thanks

Four in 3 different countries, but if you are a UK resident your dog has to be a UK champion too.  There also has to be at least a year and a day between the first and last qualifying one.  This means no dog under 2 years 3 months and one day can become an Int Chmpion as CACIB's can't be given to dogs under 15 months of age.

Don't you think that's totally unfair on the breeds who don't have CC's on offer?  What about those of us on the import register who can't even go in for best in show?

Does anyone know if the UK champion rule applies to dogs imported and now permanently living in the UK?
My imported bitch has 3 CACIBs won before she came here and I was contemplating taking her back to
try to win the others (in fact 2 more as her 3 are all from one country). But if this rule applies
I had better spend the time showing her here instead! ;)

Thanks
Janet
