Hi, my bitch is definitely in the 'ready zone' but she is new to the experience and squeals if the dog tries to mate and he has become put off. Can ayone advise me please?

Unfortunately some bitche simply won't stand at all, but you will have more luck with aproven stud dog.  A difficult bitch could put an untried dog off mating other bitches, so a ncie steady proven bitch should preferably be used for a males first time also.

It goes without saying that both should be Hip Scored, Eye tested for PHPV, and have their Von Villebrand status ascertained.
