they say they are not show quality puppies just pets just wondering if £250 was a fair price thats all have seen both parents papers

Not being show quality is not a particularly good reason to not register them in my opinion ...

Guest this is very suspicious and I would walk away.  There is no such thing as just a pet, so are all the show quality and almost show quality pups that are bred by responsible breeders seeking to maintain and improve the lines they are breeding.  Do not encourage ignorant uncaring breeding, you may regret it later.

Are the parents Hip Scored, they ought to be.  Not sure if they shoudn't be eye tested also, anyone?

And Guest, anyone can make up "papers", and print out a nice pedigree - if the dogs are Kennel Club registered - ask if you can see the posh "green" pedigrees that are issued by the Kennel Club.

Good point  they should have documents that say "The Kenenl club" on them, but not everyone bothers with the posh KC pedigres as they don't ahve as much info on as the ones I and other folk prefer to do ourselves (I include hip Scores etc on mine) :D

I know - I have the "posh" ones, but prefer my own, which go back 5 generations, and like you, have hip & eye scores + anything else I can add!!!
