Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / how much?

I am changing my dogs to burns, and as my scales have mysteriously disappeared I cannot judge how much to give them, Bart is 13 kilos and should be about 11 kilos so I think he needs 25grams.Does anyone know how many handfuls that would be? (average womans hands). My 6 month puppy is on 3 meals a day but I was only going to change one of his meals over to Burns initially. He is on the lean side but I am terrified he will get fat too.I find it very hard to judge these things, so any tips would be welcome.

If you get in touch with Burns they will send you out one of their food measuring cups.  I got in touch with them a few weeks ago as one of my dogs had decided to steal my old cup (although it was a Nutro one...) and crack it, and they send me two out which I received the next day in the post.

Is this correct,or should it be 250grams??  25grams would be like half a handful, not much at all.doesnt burns have cup measurements on the back of the bag?

If he is on the lean side I would give him a bit extra you did not  say which breed?Iv always feed on the dog if they look lean give more and if big cut down you need to get the goodness in them as puppys. Its all down to the eye but have had reared a few pups I allways give more rather then less I like a nice rounded pup I find they dont tend to over eat!!
