I am looking for a boxer bitch pup that will be ok with cats , i have been told that apup will be ok and grow up well with cats.

If you want a pup then ,yes, as long as you raise it right it will live happily with your cats.
If you would prefer an older dog contact one of the boxer rescues and they will ensure that any dog they rehome to you has been 'cat tested' if you make it clear that is what you require
