It would be very interesting to have some countrywide information on this. I would like to kick off by asking each and everyone : How many public dog rescues are there in your county ?  and, How many dogs do they rehome on average each month ?

Well our local Staffie rescue has had 3 dogs brought in just since friday. 2 bitches, both unclaimed stras from Liverpool, both been used for excessive breeding and then seemingly kicked out :( One of them is only 2 years old :( And another bitch brought in by her owners who were divorcing and neither felt they could take her :(
I have no doubt they will all be re-homed quite quickly with new keepers who are more than upto the job!
