I was wondering if any of our experts had heard of this new drug (Deslorin in Aus). It may be marketed under another name in the other countries.

Apparently???? in clinical trials is has been found to be safe.

My concern besides the long term effects is like every other bitch owner who plans on hopefully mating their bitch and the possible other concerns of drug induced "speying". This drug has also been found helpful in the treatment of pyometra, mammary tumours, and abortion.

I personally could not see any use for male dogs apart from possibly making them a little more mentally stable (same as being surgical neutered)? Drug therapy is also supposed to aid in a few prostate problems.
