I'm going to test drive a car tomorrow and then if all goes well will be buying it on Monday!! :D
Its a Toyota Celica 2.0GT. Not a new one - its a N Reg but its a few years newer than my current car and I'm all excited!!!! :D
Best of all its got a leather interior which means no more arm-aching hoovering trying to get Glazby's hairs out anymore - they get woven into my cloth interior and its a nightmare!!
Congrats on the 'new' car if you get it
But leather interiors are really cold when it's winter...
Speaking from experience as other half has a half leather interior and it's cold.
My dogs are not allowed anywhere near his car so don't know if leather = dog friendly.
Boxer hair does have a tendency to weave into most fabrics but anyhow enjoy the test drive
and baby wipes will probably be ok to wipe Glazby's slobber off the leather seats :D

Not cold if you have heated seats and baby wipes do a great job at getting rid of paw prints, as I keep pointing out to my OH every time he gets in my car and moans about the prints on the seat! :D Very handy to keep in the glove box so you can have a go at wiping muddy paws prior to getting in car too.
Good luck with the test drive. Let us know how you get on.

Toyota Celica ........ nice car, and dog ....... I used to have a Nissan 200sx and had to get rid of it as it was not a suitable car to have a dog in, just be careful.
I will be careful gspmum, thanks :-)
I won't worry too much about the cold - I've learned what thats like from driving a cabriolet through the winter!! brrrrr!!! ;-)
Baby wipes is a brilliant tip, I'm going to be investing in some of them - thanks!!
I've just had my car valeted ready to be part exchanged - took the poor man an hour just to hoover the inside and I'd only done it myself about 3 weeks ago!! Still its looking all sparkly clean now!! :D
:D Yes having the luxury of heated seats is a must I reckon...
But sadly the OH's car doesn't have heated seats so it's blooming cold
sitting on leather seats in winter until the car warms up that is :)
Me I have fabric seats and hey am thinking about getting the hatchbag
boot cover to stop too many hairs infiltrating in the estate part and waterproof
seat covers for the rest of the car, I've only had mine two months so it shouldn't
need too much of a hoover :D LOL we shall see :D

Oh Kirstine, you know how hairy my dogs are and have to say ..... gotta LURVE the leather! :D :D - my car is much cleaner and less doggy now. (How did I always have hairy front seats when my dogs were in cages in the estate boot?!?!)
I have got heated seats though!
(Now, all I need is the leather sofas at home ........... do they do leather carpets I wonder ?!?!)
