The pup you are looking for will not even have been concieved yet.  The best thing to do is find a reputable breeder (through the relevant breed club secretary as Lovelylady said ;-) ) and ask to be put on their waiting list.  It's great that you're thinking about it well in advance, as so many people just decide they want a pup and they want it now.  If you find a pup that is ready too early for you, it may be that the breeder will agree to keep the pup for a couple of extra weeks until you are in a better position to give it a settled start in it's new home.
