Today Darius came to Guide Dogs as a result of a competition on Heart FM for him to sing at someones workplace. He was really good & we have named a Guide Dog puppy Darius too!
It was on Central news this evening & may be on later if anyone is in the Midlands.

I really like Darius :)

He's a really nice guy & I got a photo took with him. He's 6'6 & I had to get him to bend down a bit & I was on tip-toe. LOL

Drat! I missed Midlands Today through doing the ironing!

Is he a dog lover then or is doing it because he has an album/single out at the mo?

Just interested as if he is true dog lover then it could be an opportunity to get him involved in helping out in fund raising for rescue as he is a very marketable commodity :)

LJS - It was a competition on radio station Heart FM - that Darius would come and play at someones workplace, there were loads of workplaces nominated & someone at my work nominated us. Heart FM decided we had won & it was arranged he'd come to Guide Dogs - but he could have gone to any workplace. We then decided to call a puppy Darius.
However he was genuinely loving the pups that were there & seemed in his element when holding them.

edit to add - He was actually there to do a gig & he was singing for quite a while, but then he was very good at meeting/greeting people etc. afterwards.  :)

He does come across as a very nice person, somebody you would like your daughter to bring home :D

Hey though Darius and puppies what a good combination ! :p

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Darius, I can't tell you how jealous I am.  He is absolutely gorgous ! :D  Oh and he seems a nice guy too :D

Ooooh, do you think that he'd be interested in an older woman who is mad about dogs?  Oh, I can at least try, nobody else is interested :d

Oh you poor things!!! do you really like Darius, i can't see him as himself, just a very large piece of cheese.

Well he didn't seem at all cheesy - he was very down to earth & seem genuine & chatted happily to us! :)

God, is Geri H bringing out a new single then soon?  I think that I'm slightly better looking than her and about the same age, maybe my luck is in then :d  They'll split up once her single gets to No. 1 :d

Had a photo of 3 of Karlie's pups the other day, they look great. Annie is coming over to see Jims current litter next week as her freind has booked a pup to go to Denmark. Hope karlie is OK.
