i have a dog that suffersw from eczema or has an allergy just one thing bothers me when out on a walk or when she,s got a bone she never scratches or knaws at herself if her condition was either of these would,nt she have to scratch? could it be she does it when she,s bored as she,s an active dog.

Eczema doesn't always itch all the time and it can get worse if you're not occupied/distracted.  I find that my little one's eczema gets worse at night while he's asleep it also gets worse if he's too warm.  Certain foods can also make it worse as can soap/bath gels/shampoos/washing powders.  I find that an evening primrose capsule daily helps prevent the itchyness and keeps the skin in better condition (less dry and cracked)
