A friend of mine in America has had a very traumatic thing happen to her dog.... she had given her dog a lick of her spoon which had peanut butter on it and then her husband also gave the dog a peanut butter cookie.
I will copy and paste so you can see:
I don't know what's wrong with my dog. She was outside barking at some dude walking down the road and I was trying to get her to stop. She stopped dead in the middle of the road and looked like she was about to stretch like dogs do. She put her nose up in the air and then just fell over like she was dead! I ran out into the middle of the road to see what was wrong with her. She was just stiff and still, laying on her side. She wasn't shaking or anything, but I wasn't sure if it was a seizure or not, so I didn't touch her but she wasn't breathing. I don't know what it was because after a seizure, dogs are usually pretty lethargic and lazy like and they'll drink like they haven't had water in days. She was none of these things. She just popped right up, but she looked confused, like she didn't know what happened. I picked her up and brought her inside and she's acting normal now, but she's not drinking or anything. I don't know what this is! You'd think after years of working in a vets office I'd have at least a clue. I really hope it's nothing serious or not a seizure, or worse that the bitch across the street didn't poison her or something. I'm off to look for what this could've been. I'm sure it could've been a seizure, but the way she's acting now is not typical of a seizure.
Her Vet did confirm it sounded like an alergic reaction to peanut butter... how terrible is that?
ooo thats aboit scary, we never give our dogs nuts for that reason, they are like kids nower days, everyone is allergic to everything!
