Someone has kindly answered my questions about my bearded collie but needed more info to help me.
He doesn't get off the lead when out for a walk because he would run away.
A friend let him off the lead at a park when he was weeks old and he chased a car, he was so far away that know knew what happened .He came back with a limp and had to have an operation to his shoulder. He has fully recovered .
When a train or any moving vehicle passes he pulls and sometimes barks.
He also doesn't like to go near any busy roads, there are very limited walks we can take him. When he refuses to walk he either puts his paws across the lead or lies down and there is no way you can make him move not even with his favourite treats.
Now he has recovered from his Operation I hope to get him to obedience lessons but if anyone has any suggestion I would be most grateful.
Thanks
