Hi - I have a Golden Retriever who is aged 2 years 8 months. During her seasons she gets a swelling of her vagina which protrudes.  I took her to the vet who had never seen anything like it - he thought it was a reaction to the oestrogen - i was concerned because we hoped to mate her during the season. As it was the swelling reduced and we were able to mate her without any problems.  The swelling disappeared again as normal at the end of her season.  She is now just over six weeks pregnant and i can see the begining of the swelling again. I am trying not to worry and keeping a close eye on her - I just wonmdered if anyone else had experienced this and if so what was the outcome.  Many thanks for any advice! Sue
