I HAVE A SIX MONTH OLD ROTTWEILER BITCH WHO IS STILL FLYING HER EARS DESPITE MASSAGING THEM INTO POSITION. IS THIS NORMAL IN A PUPPY THIS AGE? IS THERE ANYTHING MORE I CAN DO?

they might settle in the next couple of months, once the teeth and gums have calmed down, have you asked the breeder if theres a problem with flying ears in the lines or not, if theres not you should be ok,

i have staffords they sometimes suffer with flying ears my dog takes of when its windy.they never improved tried all the old wives tales. it turned out he was the only one in the litter like it and the only one that went to a show home. his came from his breeding and i know they can settle down in some breeds its just a matter of time

didnt anyone suggest you glueing the ears while he was teething, -many breeds have this done and it help keep the correct ear carraige. they use copydex, i know staffords often have it done , i also know bulldogs too that had it ,some breeds use tape ,some have other means but a lot help them out when its needed,
