Thank you everyone for your help and advice regards choosing a cocker and breeder info.I know this is really cheeky but can any of you recommend a good breeder.We live in the north east but we travel back to the midlands/Hereford on a regular basis.Im not bothered about colour (thanks Jane for info on colour rage)only temperment is important.It doesnt matter when litter is due /planned as long as its not too soon as id like time to get to see/meet breeder and adult dogs if pos.(and of course get used to the idea of another "baby")

I'll email you privately with some breeder contacts. There are not too many breeders in Herefordshire, but quite a few in Worcs & the Midlands & also the NE. If you want to meet breeders, it might be an idea to come to a Cocker Breed Club Show - there is a big Cocker show in the W Midlands on April 6th. Let me know if you want details.
