My parnter and I are thinking of moving homes...

We have two dogs and frankly could do with more room.

We would be renting and were thinking of maybe Kent or Essex and wondered if anyone knew of a nice area, which is relatively Rural ie few fields for the dogs to run in etc and easy to get into the Central London.

Thanks for your help...Im stuck for ideas...

We live in Kent, near the sea, but also out in the sticks, (nearest neighbour about 3 miles away) so we have the best of both worlds ;)

If you are looking in Kent, what about some of the little villages just outside Ashford? There are some really rural places, You have access to London and all areas of the Country from the International Station. And London by car, from us, is about 45 mins, on a good day :)

Depending upon what you wanted to pay in rent of course, the rents round here are rediculous, we were thinking of moving (a bit more space) and our landlord who manages property, quoted us £700.00pcm for a 3 bed terrace in a village  with council tax of £1,300

We're in Sdicup at the moment and we're paying £600 for a tiny 2 bedroom flat so £700 pcm isn't that bad..I was previously paying £780 although I had no life...

£1,300 council tax is just disturbing!!!!

I'd like to be somewhere quiet with space but within safe distant to a local shop for nibbles...

Ashford sounds good though I'll have a little look up!

You don't have any idea what train zone its in?????

Thanks for your help!

The trains go into Waterloo if thats any help, afraid thats all I know as I can't remember the last time I used a train

We live in a detached 3 bed house at the moment and pay a very good rent, been here 6 yrs and the rent hasn't gone up (touch wood several times) but the council tax really stings us at £1,289 per yr  Our village is 3 miles away, so unless I was a keep fit fanatic (walking on lanes, no pavement) a car is essential. But we are surrounded by fields, have no annoying neighbours, apart from the sheep, who lets just say,  if your into pornography and horned head fighting, your in for a treat :D and the beach is where our village is.

Hi

Sorry i hope u dont mind me jumping on your thread as well

We currently live near wigan, But are in the process of de cluttering, and painting. In the vain hope, that we can sell. We live on the edge of a large estate.

And hopefully fingers crossed, We are hoping to move to cornwall. We wont be buying. We will be renting.

Anyone live in cornwall. We will be looking possibly on the west, st austell, truro poss surrounding villages. Anyone got any tips, rent prices, schools, bus links etc.
