I am looking to get another dog in the next year (maybe 3 months !!) and am havng trouble deciding on a dog or bitch - the only reason being I want the baby to settle in with my existing dog family as easily as possible. I dont breed and all my dogs are spayed/neutuered.

I have:

Benny - 4 1/2 years - dog - toy poodle - Alpha dog
Biscuit - 2 years - dog - toy poodle - bottom of the pack well and truly
Ella - 13 months - bitch - toy poodle - vying for Alpha dog position bit no nastiness
Maggie - 10 months - bitch - miniature poodle - bad hips - a real sweetie and happy to mess along in the middle
